STATIONERY CONTRACT
Process
A quote is provided upfront and reflects the scope of work outlined at the time of booking. Prices may change only if the scope of work changes due to additional design selections or items added to the order. Any price adjustments will be discussed and approved by both parties prior to proceeding.
Additional items may be added to the order at any time and will be billed at the corresponding rate.
A non-refundable 50% retainer is required to secure a spot in Public House Co.’s calendar. The remaining balance is due once proofs are approved and artwork is ready for print. Public House Co. will not release final files or proceed to print until the project is paid in full.
While every effort is made to present realistic digital proofs, the Client understands that colors, textures, and scale may appear differently on screen than in print. Clients are encouraged to request paper samples or test prints from the printer if there are any concerns.
The Client acknowledges familiarity with Public House Co.’s portfolio and artistic style and is commissioning services with that understanding. The Artist’s work is continually evolving and is inherently artistic in nature. Public House Co. retains full artistic discretion and judgment in creating artwork consistent with the Artist’s vision of the event. Accordingly, artwork shall not be subject to rejection based on personal taste or aesthetic preference.
Design Timeline
Public House Co. will provide a design schedule at the start of each project outlining proof delivery dates, revision periods, and final approval deadlines required to meet production timelines. Missed deadlines or delays in feedback by the Client may compromise the final delivery date.
If required information (including but not limited to event date, location, timing, wording, or reference images) is not provided, design work cannot begin. While follow-up reminders may be sent, it is the Client’s sole responsibility to provide complete and accurate information. Public House Co. is not responsible for delays caused by missing or incomplete information.
Public House Co. will carefully review all designs prior to printing; however, final responsibility for proofreading rests with the Client. Public House Co. is not responsible for errors discovered after written approval is provided. Any reprint fees resulting from approved errors will be the Client’s responsibility.
Each order includes up to three (3) rounds of revisions per item. Additional revisions may require additional fees.
Once digital proofs are approved, final files will be sent to print.
Production
Paper & Size
Unless otherwise requested, stationery is digitally printed on 120lb cotton paper. Standard sizes are: Invitation (5" × 7"), Details / Map / Event Card (4.25" × 5.5"), RSVP (3.5" × 5").
Variations
Handmade papers, wax seals, and ribbon embellishments are crafted by hand and may vary slightly in size, shape, and color. These variations are considered part of the handcrafted nature of the work. While color representation is carefully managed, printed colors may differ slightly from on-screen previews.
Product Availability
Paper, envelopes, and embellishments are subject to supplier availability, particularly during peak seasons. If selected materials become unavailable, comparable alternatives of equal quality will be offered.
All product designs, materials, and pricing are subject to change without notice. In the event of discontinued supplies, fulfillment may not be guaranteed.
Production Times
Production begins immediately upon final approval. Estimated timelines are as follows:
Digital Printing: 10–15 business days plus shipping
Foil & Letterpress: 20–25 business days plus shipping
Embellishments: May add 5–10 business days
These timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
Pricing & Shipping
Website & Contract pricing reflects full retail prices in USD and does not include applicable taxes. In the event of pricing errors, Public House Co. reserves the right to cancel and refund affected orders.
Orders ship via USPS or FedEx with estimated delivery times of 3–10 business days. Additional shipping charges based on final order weight may apply and will be invoiced prior to shipment. Once shipped, Public House Co. is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage incurred during transit.
Express shipping is available upon request and will be invoiced separately.
Copyright, Artwork Use & Advertising
Archived Artwork & Non-Exclusive Use
Client understands that unless otherwise agreed to in writing, commissioned artwork is non-exclusive. Public House Co. may reuse, adapt, or offer archived artwork or elements thereof to future clients. Exclusive rights may be purchased separately if available.
Custom Elements
Personalized elements including names, wording, layouts, monograms, color palettes, and suite configurations are created uniquely for each client. Studio motifs and venue artwork may be reused or adapted unless exclusivity has been purchased.
Reference & AI-Generated Images
Reference images, including AI-generated content, are used for inspiration only. Public House Co. does not replicate AI-generated imagery or third-party artwork. Final artwork is created in the Artist’s distinct style and artistic judgment.
All artwork, designs, and materials created by Public House Co. remain the sole and exclusive property of Public House Co. and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.
Public House Co. reserves the right to photograph and use completed work for marketing, portfolio, and promotional purposes across print, digital, and social platforms. Clients wishing to opt out must notify Public House Co. in writing at the time of booking.
When sharing work publicly, the Client agrees to credit Public House Co. through visible tagging, labeling, or verbal acknowledgment.
Returns, Exchanges & Cancellation
Because all artwork is custom-made, orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation once artwork production has begun. Design fees and retainers are non-refundable.
If a cancellation is requested prior to the start of work, the Client may receive a refund equal to 50% of the total purchase price.
If an error occurs due to a mistake on the part of Public House Co., the error will be corrected at no cost. Errors approved by the Client are the Client’s responsibility, including any reprint costs.
Public House Co. is committed to delivering exceptional work and service. Client participation through timely feedback and approvals is essential. Any concerns will be reviewed in good faith with the goal of resolution.
